Women Get Sh*t Done: Celebrating rising female leaders

Women get sh*t done. They start businesses, run for office, discover cures, inspire movements and so much more. Join Good Ol’ Girls for our annual anniversary event to celebrate the power of female ingenuity and drive. The event will feature a panel of rising female leaders across industries discussing their professional journeys, leadership in male-dominated fields and work-life balance, among other things. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Ming Ming Kwan (COO, San Francisco Community Health Center)

Ming Ming Kwan is the Chief Operating Officer at San Francisco Community Health Center, a community health center located in the Tenderloin Neighborhood in San Francisco. SF born and raised, she volunteered as a teenager in the Tenderloin and always knew there was something truly exceptional about the neighborhood even though everyone, including her parents, warned her to stay away. After close to a decade away from SF, she returned in 2006 and took on a position as HIV Testing Coordinator at API Wellness, now San Francisco Community Health Center. Over the past 12 years, she has grown with the organization into her current role as COO where she oversees 80% of the staff including the primary care and behavioral health clinic, transgender services, HIV treatment and prevention, capacity building and training, communication, facilities, and IT.

Michelle Nguyen (Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Salty Studios)

Michelle Nguyen is a bona fide Californian and creative director based in San Francisco. With over 10 years of experience, she has built a broad portfolio in print, digital, brand strategy, and social platforms for notable clients such as adidas, Motorola, HP, Playstation, Johnson & Johnson, and Wells Fargo.

Michelle has earned 2 ADDY awards as a creative and was recently listed in AdWeek’s Creative 100 as an industry leader. She’s worked at top agencies such as Liquid Agency, McCann Erickson, EWI Worldwide, and Blast Radius. Reputed for her confident decision making and driving processes end-to-end, she’s always ready to face new challenges while striving for perfection. Currently, Michelle is the Chief Creative Officer of Salty Studios, a creative studio, and influencer marketing agency.

Renee Reid (Sr. UX Design Researcher, LinkedIn)

Renee Reid is a Sr. UX Design Researcher at LinkedIn with over 15 years of professional experience in various roles including Project Management, Customer Experience, Sales and User Experience. She is the lead researcher on Search and Discovery and Trust and Privacy member experiences. Renee is also the LinkedIn South Bay Campus Lead for the Black Inclusion Group (BIG, an Employee Resource Group (ERG), a Professional Mentor with TechWomen, an Initiative of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and a registered Everwise mentor, an online mentoring platform where she provides development and mentorship to women in UX.
