About the Workshop:

When it comes to your sex life, do you feel like something’s missing, broken, or simply not “right”? Maybe you struggle to connect with your partner, but only in the bedroom! Maybe you feel ashamed to touch yourself, try out that deep desire (the one you haven’t told anyone), or speak up during sex. Maybe you don’t know what you like or even where to start.

There's nothing wrong with you.

In my last 7 years teaching about sex, pleasure, & intimacy, some version of “Am I normal?” is the #1 question I hear. From college students to new moms, housewives to health care providers, cancer survivors to #girlbosses: women like you wonder if their sexual experiences and th outs are ok.

This sex-positive workshop shows you that when it comes to sex there is no normal, only more and less common.

In this workshop, we’ll explore what the heck “normal” sex even is.

During the first half, we’ll dig into the societal reasons why many of us feel shame around sex, from why you feel like everyone is getting it on more than you to the shame around your fantasies. You'll get insight into why academia and health fields are so damn sex negative and how you can help change that.

During the second half, I’ll address the most common issues with the tips, tools, and other resources to help you have more intimate, exciting, & fulfilling sex. From simple tweaks to your favorite positions to practices to love yourself more to the latest toys, you'll leave with simple, practical, REAL tips for creating more #freedominpleasure in your life.

Is there any live sex in this workshop?

Nope! There is, however, a vulva puppet (yup puppet!) named Vickie and some non-phallic (they don’t look like peen) sex toys.

Will there be nudity or pornographic images?

Nope - unless you count Vickie.

Do I have to talk about my sex life?

Only if you want to. You’ll have opportunities to share but no one is forced to. After all - this isn't an awkward high school health class! The goal is for you to learn a little, laugh a lot, and leave with sexy tips to try at home as soon as that night.

Is this open to men and women?

Anyone who identifies as a women is welcome to attend. Sorry gents - you have to sit this one out.

Will I be able to buy sex toys?

This isn't a shopping/sex toy party, but you will be able to purchase products from Pink Bunny following the workshop.

What about confidentiality?

Your privacy is of the utmost importance! We start the workshop by creating a safe space complete with rules about what’s cool and what’s not. Spoiler (yes that’s a Doctor Who reference thankyouverymuch): confidentiality is #1, followed closely by not yucking on anyone else’s yum.

In addition, I won’t sell or share your name with anyone. And you’re totally free to use an alias the day of the workshop.

Will I feel embarrassed?

Let’s be real - talking about sex, especially with strangers, can be uncomfortable! Throughout the workshop, I encourage you to take care of yourself whether it’s using the restroom, asking a question, or stepping out if you feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable.

But most participants find they’re totally at ease during the workshop - I hear, “wow you made me feel so comfortable!” after every workshop.

Are laughing and giggling ok?

You betcha! Sex is pretty darn funny if you think about it - 2 (or more!) bodies coming together with hard parts and soft parts and sweat and...well you know how it is! I encourage you to let them giggles out as often as you need.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be 18 or over to attend this workshop.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
